Independent Living Trips
Our independent living trips to Angel Fire, New Mexico offer young adults opportunities to experience the outdoors, absorb new arts and culture, socialize with peers, and practice necessary independent living skills before they head off to college or get one step closer to moving out on their own.
Each trip includes:
Round trip airfare from Dallas, Texas to Albuquerque, New Mexico
Shared housing in mountain home in Angel Fire, New Mexico
Light hiking and outdoor activities
Shared cooking and cleaning responsibilities
Cultural experiences throughout New Mexico
Meals out at local restaurants and group meals prepared by participants
Group social skills discussions
Opportunities for creative writing, art, and other downtime activities
A pre-trip group meeting and one pre-trip group hike in Dallas

Includes round-trip airfare from Dallas to Albuquerque with trip chaperones, 3 meals/day, activities, and accommodations.
